Landslide in La Conchita, California

A landslide is a type of mass movement. In a slide, material moves along a flat inclines surface. In California landslides occur all the time. On October 24, 2005, a landslide occured in La Conchita, California. 10 people were killed and 30 homes were destroyed during this landslide. As a matter of face, the whole state of California is part of a landslide itself. This slide is named the Rincon Mountain Slide. This slide has been going on for thousands of years.
