1. Strong earthquake in southern Iran kills 4 and Sea floods Texas island: get out or 'certain death'
2. A earthquake that lasted 30 seconds center was between Irans southern port city of Bandar Khamir and Queshm island. It killied 4 people and wounded 34. 100 residential houses in rural areas were damaged, the electricity was also shut off in parts of Queshm.
3.Flood water invaded Galveston island on Friday morning. The center of hurricane Ike still hasnt reached landfall. Weather services are warning that anyone who remains in Galveston Bay homes will die. People in areas of storm surge are being evacuated.
